Dr Emila O’Connor – Osteopath

Emila is the principal Osteopath at Finesse Osteopathy in Tatura, she has more than a decade of experience as an osteopath. Emila graduated from Victoria University with a Bachelor of Applied Science (Clinical Science) and a Masters of Health Science (Osteopathy).
Emila is the founder and managing director of Finesse Osteopathy, which originated in Warracknabeal in February 2015. Emila has since moved with her husband Ryan and started her business in Tatura, in 2017. Emila grew up in Shepparton with Tatura being a place she visited often with grandparents Frank and Rosie Howley spending most of their lives here.
Prior to opening Finesse Osteopathy, she worked in numerous well-established and reputable Osteopathic clinics throughout Melbourne. Here, she increased her knowledge and further developed her skills alongside some of the most respected Osteopaths in her field.
Focusing on neck and back pain (spinal pain and headaches), Emila provides effective treatment and management for both acute and chronic conditions.
Being a health and fitness enthusiast herself, she enjoys providing quality treatment for all sports injuries and providing further rehabilitation and management of these conditions.
She also has a passion for women’s health, primarily in helping alleviate pain during pregnancy. Since having children herself she has developed further interest in treating young babies.
Emila is registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA), has a level 1 certificate in dry needling, and is a current member of Osteopathy Australia.
